Out of all the wonderful musicians, artists, engineers, friends and support I've received during the course of this project, I must express my gratitude to the one person who has influenced and enriched my life beyond my wildest dreams; Elle, my wife. It is without a doubt that this CD and book would have never happened without her love and shared belief in my dream of awakening the musician and writer that lie dormant for so long. It is her that I would like to celebrate, and graciously give credit to for bringing me the joy and happiness I have had since first we met over thirty years ago.

She is my best friend, mother to our children, and one of the kindest people I know. Everyone that knows us has always asked me, "how did you ever get her to marry you"? If I knew the answer to that question I could bottle it, sell it and become a millionaire. So now that I have totally embarrassed her I would like to continue on and thank the rest of the crew that participated in Recovery and The Fire Within.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jim Schwall (guitar) - - I have known this man since I was sixteen years old. Not only is he a superb guitarist, he is also one of the finest men I know. Jim plays acoustic and lead guitar on many of the songs on Recovery. He is also co-produced the album, and was a positive influence during the mix down (probably the hardest part of recording the CD). I am honored to have him as a friend.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rich Grimes (guitar) - - I have yet to meet Rich in person. We met on a forum for Roland digital recorders. He was very helpful when I was first starting this project. He sent along some of his tunes, and I discovered he was a "smoking guitar player." I asked if he would be interested in adding some guitar to my songs and he did. We transfer our files back & forth over the internet. His style was so strong I started writing songs with his playing in mind. Rich, I owe you big time!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Curtis Bachman (bass) - - I have also know Curtis since I was sixteen. I consider him my best friend. He was there when I needed him most, and for that I will forever be in his debt. Curt plays bass on Thirty Years. The song The Last Goodbye was written for him in memory of the love of his life, Diane Bachman
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corky Siegel (Harmonica) - - Corky took time out his ridiculously busy schedule to lay down some subtle licks on Call In The Night. Schwall is also on that cut, Since I played with Siegel Schwall many years ago, it's seems only fitting that they have joined me on this album.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay Sabatier (guitar) - - Another really hot guitar player who's style adds improvement to everyone he plays with. It's truly inspirational to work with Jay. He definitely added a new dimension to the album. I appreciate the time he gave of himself to contribute to this project.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scotty Campbell (fiddle) - - Like Rich, I met Scotty on the forum. As soon as I heard his talent I just had to have him play on Twenty Eight and the acoustic version of Recovery. I sent him my tracks via the internet, and he sent back his. Just like "plug and play." Thank you Scotty for sharing your talent with me and the rest of us. Check out his site.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bob Hein (guitar & vocals) - - Just met Bob during the studio portion of the album. Bob sings all the male back up parts (sweet voice) and also performed some fantastic blues playing on Call In The Night.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Danny Munson (drums & percussion) - - Me and Danny go way back too! Absolutely one of the best drummers I had the pleasure to work with. When I moved back to Wisconsin and started the CD he was one of the first people I called. I got lucky when several other musicians from his band, The Jazz Market, also laid down some fine tracks on this CD.

Brian Lydeen (sax) - - Brian plays in Jazz Market and gave my tunes that creamy texture only a soulful sax player can offer.

Mark Lavardas (fretless bass) - - Mark is also in Jazz Market and his funky smooth style really brought to life the songs he played on.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tom Taylor (piano) Tom and me go back to the 70's. Tom is the best keyboard player I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is featured on the acoustic mix of Recovery.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corey Saffold (bass) - - Corey is one of the studio engineers who just happens to be a killer bass player. Corey added some fantastic six string bass playing to my music. It's really nice to have that kind of talent "in house."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lina Palionis (vocals) - - Bob Hein recommended Lina to me. He said she was one of the finest singers in the area, and he was right. It was like getting the gift you wanted for Christmas. We had never heard her sing until she showed up at the studio and blew us away. Thank you Lina!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carmen Nickerson (vocals) - - Carmen was recommended by the studio, and with that type of endorsement you expect the best, and she's all that and more. Carmen sings duet on The Last Goodbye and Recovery (acoustic version) as well as back up on many of the tunes. She's professional as they come. click on her name to check out her web site.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paradyme Productions - - There is little doubt in my mind that this CD would never have sounded this good without the skills and masterful ear of Jake Johnson. Jake engineered and co-produced Recovery. Jake is always up, and his attention to detail is unparalleled. I would also like to thank Billy Maynard for running one of the sessions as well. Visit their site.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rik deMeyer & Alaina deMeyer - - Without a doubt, a man would be blessed to have children as fine as these two, but for them to be so talented as well takes my breath away. Rik created the entire CD package design and book cover. He is an awesome graphic artist, and I do mean artist. Alaina provided all the black and white photos on this site and her photography was used in conjunction with the cover of The Fire Within. I am so pleased they have become a part of this project. I never in my life imagined that I would have so much! Thank you, both of you!
